Photography Should Be Enjoyable
Photography isn't about owning the most expensive camera or remembering every technical setting.
It's about learning to slow down, observe the world differently and develop the confidence to create photographs that matter to you.
Whether you're picking up a camera for the very first time or refining your documentary practice, my aim is always the same:
To make learning welcoming, practical and inspiring.
Practical
Learn by making photographs rather than simply talking about them.

Everyone learns differently. I adapt every session to the people in front of me.
Real World
Photography happens outside textbooks. Everything I teach comes from professional practice.
I teach photography across a range of settings, from complete beginners taking their very first steps with a camera to further and higher education students developing their creative practice.
My teaching combines practical workshops, discussion, constructive critique and real photographic assignments, helping learners build both technical confidence and their own visual voice.

Why I Teach
Photography changed my own life.
It taught me to slow down, to notice more and to connect with people and places in ways I never expected.
Helping someone else experience that same moment, when everything suddenly clicks, is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Teaching isn't separate from my photography.
It's simply another way of sharing it.
Looking Ahead
