Those are the things I want to photograph.
Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, with plenty of patience, breaks when needed and absolutely no expectation of perfect behaviour.
Because the best portraits happen when they’re comfortable enough simply to be themselves.

Before the session, we’ll have a chat about your pet, their personality and what makes them special.
Tell me what they love, what makes them nervous, what always makes you laugh and what you’d most like the photographs to remember.
A RELAXED
SESSION
We work at their pace.
There’s no rush and no pressure to perform.
If they need five minutes to investigate everything, we give them five minutes.
If they need a break, they get one.
And if treats help, I’m certainly not above bribery.
NATURAL
PORTRAITS
I’ll gently guide when needed while giving your pet plenty of freedom to behave naturally.
Alongside the more considered portraits, I’ll be watching for the expressions, movement and spontaneous moments that show their real character.

After the session, your carefully edited photographs will be presented in a private online gallery.
You can take your time, enjoy the images and choose the photographs that mean the most to you.

MORE THAN A PET
The photographs become more important with time.
We invite animals into our lives knowing, somewhere in the back of our minds, that their time with us will never feel long enough.
They become part of the everyday. The morning walk. The muddy footprints. The car journeys. The familiar sound of paws across the floor. The head resting on your knee at the end of the day.
For years, those things feel completely ordinary.
Then, eventually, they become the moments we would give almost anything to experience once more.
That’s why I believe these photographs matter.
Not because every pet needs a portrait.
But because every relationship deserves to be remembered.
Rob has done a fantastic job with these photographs. I could not be happier. The professional frame just adds to the over all high quality.
The value for money here is amazing, I was happily surprised by just how big the frame was when it arrive meaning you can see all the details in the photos.
Rob also needs to be recognised for how well he handles the boys. They can be a handful but are very calm with him. I have so much confidence with leaving the boys with him.

Cats, horses and other much-loved animals are welcome too.
The location and approach can be adapted to suit the individual animal, whether that means working at home, outdoors or somewhere they already feel comfortable.
PEOPLE ARE WELCOME TOO
Because the relationship is part of the story.
Pawfectly Purfect doesn’t have to mean photographs of your pet alone. If you’d like to be included, I’d actively encourage it.
The connection between you is part of what makes their story special, and some of the most meaningful photographs are often the simplest, a hand resting on their head, a shared look or a quiet moment together.
You don’t need to pose. You just need to be there.
