Most people tell me they don’t enjoy having their photograph taken.
That’s completely understandable.
Being asked to “look natural” while somebody points a camera at you rarely helps anyone relax.
So I don’t begin with posing.
I begin with conversation.
We take our time. We talk. We settle into the session.
And somewhere along the way, the camera becomes less important.
That’s usually when the photographs begin to feel real.
